Notably the recognition of the complexity of relationships and decision making. It led us to propose _a conversational cycle_: * ![](https://pad.public.cat/uploads/upload_ff7a96a21feaa9ca0733c2015a827e39.png) > In terms of development, the conversational cycle pattern is quite easy: > > - Hubbub: a problem arises (someone encounters a problem or an idea and shares it with the community) > - Signal: the problem is formulated as an issue on the development platform. > - Collaboration: the bug reporter and the developers cooperate to provide a working solution, using the issue notes and merge requests. > - Solution: working code fixing the issue is merged into the affected package and integrated into the distribution. > - Tensions: the shipped solution might provoke reactions if it affects other people, but hopefully, the working solution enables to focus on other issues that will arise. We also proposed to reconsider freedom to insist on its collective aspects and view it as a responsibility towards others: > The pathway to a different socio-political organization starts with the deconstruction of the fundamentals of our civilization: individual freedom is most interesting in all aspects when it is measured with regard to the social constraints, it then becomes productive of worthy social and collective outcomes. Each individual can then root their personal development both in a local and global community, therefore reflecting personal action to nurture both the personal and the collective. Interdependence enabling self-determination can activate personal freedom as a responsible asset. In this booklet we insist a lot on human relations and care for the invisible, especially when it comes to considering « volunteering » (wich we distinguish from « free labor »). Keywords from the fourth of cover: code is politics ; with freedom comes responsibility ; all actions happen in a situation ; don't say 'bottom-up', say topless[^jk] ; when in doubt: fork! [^jk]: this is a joke to step away from the top-down/bottom-up duality that imposes a hierarchical view, hence 'topless' instead, that refers to anarchism, not boobs. #### Prendre Soin https://thx.zoethical.org/pub/prendre-soin In this booklet from Summer 2020, we responded to the pandemic crisis with a collection of texts replacing personal counter-experience, so to speak, to the dominant narrative, questioning the strength of alliances among resistance networks and the spaces where we could meet. [Invitation à une Présence Solidaire](https://ps.zoethical.org/t/invitation-a-une-presence-solidaire-invitation-to-a-solidary-presence/3811) was an open invitation to gather despite the strong recommendation not to, to take responsibility for our own health and the health of our networks ; only women responded and participated. > TransHack ·X·sist·nce was fulfilling a desire to pursue in writing the work started with 3TS that invited to diffractive readings of philosophers through the prism of singular technologies. It was about confronting the detached and overarching discourse of philosophy, notably the feminist and influences critical to techno-science, to paradoxically deincarnated and metamorphic practices of hackers. Writing allows to deepen an exploration of the relations between resisting and diverging bodies to technological hybridization, of a transversal and transgressive appropriation of technical production. The hybrid approach to mix concepts hardly known to hackers with poorly understood practices of the critiques of technology meant to brings to hackers and philosophers proper tools to rethink our relation to technique, and the delegation (dissolution) of its creation to corporations, as well as the alienation of the bodies to their golems. Following the publication of the 3TS card game, we had reiterated the invitation on new methodological basis which resulted in the desire to pursue with speculative narration. Our point of departure was [Our Woven Networks] that keeps being on the table for grabs...
